Thank you

I would just like to post a quickie and THANK everyone who has been encouraging and supportive in the last few weeks. I deeply and truly appreciate it. I wish I could give all of you big fat hugs and kisses right now!

Quick update on Jeremy: His speech therapist was very pleased with Jeremy's progression. He is engaging and interacting more with whomever he's playing with. He is making more and more eye contact, and not just in therapy but at home as well. Today he tried to say the word "up" and "ball".
Jeremy plays with Ian more and more each day. Has become interested in having us write the alphabet on his magnadoodle, again. And will now tell us what he wants (outside, movie) by taking hold of our hand and guiding us.
Occupational Therapy is fun too! He gets to swing for the first 10-15 minutes; play with heavy balls; today he wore some light weights around his wrists and ankles while picking up heavy balls (he did pretty well-this kid is more coordinated than we gave him credit for); she also does this joint massage where she grabs either end of a joint and pushes it together; and then takes what looks like a brush and brushes his bare arms, legs and back (he sits still for this, he clearly enjoys it!).
I'm very happy with the way everything is going. And yet, I have to keep reminding myself, ONE DAY AT A TIME!
Today my mom suggested that I start writing everything that is going on with Jeremy (good days-bad days) in a journal so when I'm having a bad day I can look at it and remind myself that it's OKAY! I thought that was brilliant so I started that tonight. Writing everything down made me feel better. SO MUCH better.
Anyhoo-time to relax! So glad my back is feeling better.
