Jeremy's progress

So it's been a few months without therapy and I'm starting to stress a little. I waited and waited until I knew Ian would start school soon before I called into the regional center to get the ball rolling. As of right now, they are still waiting for his file from SOCAL to be transferred. Been about 2 weeks or more. I'm going to contact the lady that was in charge of his case and see why it's taking so long.
So in the mean time I figured we would see what Kaiser offers. Well that looks like it might take a little while to get started too. I'm doing what I can at home for him but it's not enough.
On the upside, I have seen lots of improvement in his eye contact with all of us, his comfort level around people he doesn't know, his receptive and expressive language and his general demeanor. He still has some sensory issues and that is what I have been trying to work on at home as well as working on signing but like I said, he needs more, and from people that know what they are doing!
I'm going to do my part and continue to be as vigilant in this process as I can be while remembering that I'm doing all that I can at home.
I'll be able to have lots more one-on-one time with Jer once Ian goes back to preschool which will be next Thursday.
2012 has been an interesting, challenging, fun and rewarding year.
