Jeremy's progress, evaluation and things to come

Jeremy has improved by leaps and bounds in the last few months. But there is still cause for concern.

He was evaluated again in all areas. The only area he is not severely delayed in gross and fine motor skills.

The coordinator and I discussed the program he will be in. Until he turns 3, in Jan, the Early Start program will be conducted at home for approx 15 hours a week. In coordination with this program he will be assessed by a clinical psychologist. They will determine whether or not Jeremy has autism or not.
The psychologist we saw in Indiana didn't have her ducks in a row and was a bit worn out I believe so he needs a proper assessment.
Not exactly sure what will happen once he turns 3 and the district takes over but the coordinator says we have the meetings for that purpose and to make sure the transition and services is uninterrupted.
So for now we wait for another 2 weeks or less until the program starts.

There has been talk of me going back to work part-time to afford for Jeremy to start preschool and for me to get out of the house. But things are still so up in the air that none of that can be decided on.
At this point, Hal and I are just happy that things are starting to really settle here and we are all finding our groove!
